Oluko Lande
Lande Sanusi is a bold champion for African culture in Chicago, an award-winning cultural ambassador, and a fun-loving, enthusiastic educator. Lande is the founder of the non-profit organization CAKE AFRICA (Cultures of Africa for Kids Everywhere Inc).
She holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago, as well as Master's Certifications in Project Management from George Washington University and Women's Entrepreneurship from Cornell University.
She received certification in African Language Curriculum Development from NALRC's intensive Summer Institute and Professional Development programs at Indiana University Bloomington. Prior to that, she served in the US Army National Guard and worked as an Engineer for 15 yrs in the telecommunications industry.
Oluko Lande has received awards for community involvement from organizations like NAPA, African American History Commission & more.

Bolanle Lateef is a native Yoruba speaker and a graduate of Yoruba Language and Literature from Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijebu-Ode Ogun State, Nigeria with second class upper division in the year 2017. She served for a year at Ijebu-Ode Grammar School Ogun State as well and had her NYSC certificate in the year 2019 and also got registered and licensed by the Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria(TRCN) in the same year. She obtained Indiana University's Summer Institute for African Language Instructors for curriculum development and participated in the Pedagogy Research Workshop.
Oluko Bola recently completed her Master’s program at Lagos State University, where she studied Yorùbá Literature and Culture. She enjoys promoting Yoruba Language and Culture and meeting people.
Adisa Alawiye is a native Yorùbá speaker and teacher of the language. He holds an NCE (Nigerian Certificate of Education) in Yorùbá and English from Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (now Lagos State University of Education). He proceeded to Lagos State University, Ojo, where he graduated with a degree in Yorùbá and Education. He is a registered teacher with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). He is a Fellow with National African Language Resource Center (NALRC), Indiana University, Bloomington, USA. He recently completed his Master's Degree program in Yorùbá Literature and Culture. He is a lover of learner-centered teaching.
Remilekun Bakare is a native Yorùbá speaker and teacher of the language. She holds a Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Yorùbá Language and Literature from Obafemi Awolowo University. She is passionate about sharing the richness of the Yoruba language and culture with students and is committed to fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment.

Oreoluwa Martins is a native speaker of the Yoruba language and an indigene of Ondo state, Nigeria. In 2019, she graduated with a Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE) from Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Oto/Ijanikin, now known as Lagos State University of Education, Lagos, Nigeria, where she studied English and Yoruba.
She is a registered and licensed teacher with the Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). She has a Certification for Curriculum Development from Indiana University's Summer Institute for African Language Instructors and recently completed their Pedagogy Research Workshop.
Oluko Ore recently graduated from Lagos State University, where she studied Yoruba Education. She has a passion for teaching the Yoruba Language and culture as it is a way of preserving the Yoruba heritage
Kikelomo Fakunmoju is a native Yorùbá speaker and teacher of the language. She holds a degree in Yoruba and communication arts from the Lagos State University (LASU) Ojo. She has participated in several English and Yoruba cultural Radio programs at (Lasuradio 95.7fm).She is a lover and enthusiastic tutor of culture.
